I’ve been looking forward to seeing your sketches from Canada ever since I heard mention of this trip during an interview in the Sketchbook Skool course on watercolour — a course I decided to take after learning that you would be one of the instructors. It was worth the price of admission just to see you, and hear you, in action. Drawing directly with paint was a real eye-opener.
These sketches (and the fine line drawings) take my breath away. Knowing many of these locations, from my own trips to the Rockies, makes them all the more intriguing and enchanting.
Thank you so much. I think I've managed to go past rabidlly envious. The feeling is so numbing that I enjoy yout posts quietly.
ReplyDeleteReally wonderful to see these Ian. Thanks so much for sharing.
